Respond to any level of technical inquiry
Work on special projects as required
Participate in trade shows/boat shows, domestically or internationally.
Visit customers for product inspections, adjustments and repairs
Help to develop technical information systems for customer service
Be skilled with manufacturing drawings
Report issues regarding customer relations to senior management
Be familiar with the Tides Marine quality system
Be proficient with the MAS operating system
Be knowledgeable of all Tides Marine departmental procedures
Develops and maintains good customer relations
Handles customer related problems and technical issues
Travels to customer and other, locations to perform duties such as inspections, repairs, diagnoses and recommendations
Other duties as required
JOB SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Marine industry experience
Knowledge of boat building, maintenance, and repair
Computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Must have good communication skills, verbal and written
BASIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Type 30 wpm
Be able to lift 40 lbs
Have specific computer skills
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language clearly
